李胜杰，男，1981年出生，博士，研究员，硕士生导师，院拔尖人才，国家现代农业产业技术体系岗位专家。主要从事水产生物技术与遗传育种的研究工作，研究涉及鱼类功能基因及组学研究、功能性分子标记开发及辅助育种应用等领域。主持“十二五”国家科技支撑计划子课题、国家自然科学基金、国家现代农业产业技术体系、广东省自然科学基金、广东省科技计划项目等10余项，参与国家863计划、农业行业专项、农业部948项目等项目20项。分别主持和参与培育大口黑鲈新品种“优鲈3号”和“优鲈1号”，作为主要完成人获省部级奖励6项、市级科技奖6项及授权发明专利12项。发表论文100余篇，主编著作3部，参编4部。
