International Conference on Language and Cultural Exchange for Regional Integration and Social Change in Belt and Road Countries (LCESC-BR 2025)

The International Conference on Language and Cultural Exchange for Regional Integration and Social Change in Belt and Road Countries (LCESC-BR 2025) aims to bring together researchers, educators, and policymakers to explore the role of language and cultural exchange in promoting connectivity and social transformation among Belt and Road countries. We sincerely invite you to participate in the conference and present your research. The themes of the conference include but are not limited to the following:


Conference Themes:

The Conference Committee welcomes papers from a wide variety of interdisciplinary and theoretical perspectives, and submissions are organised into the themes and sub-themes listed below:

  • The Role of Language in Strengthening Regional Connectivity Across Belt and Road Countries
    How linguistic diversity and common languages promote communication and  cooperation.

  • Cultural Diplomacy and Soft Power: Tools for Social Change in the Belt and Road Initiative
    Exploring cultural exchange as a means of fostering mutual  understanding and societal transformation.

  • Language Policies and Their Impact on Cross-Border Cooperation and Integration
    Examining national and regional language policies that shape cultural  and economic ties.

  • Preserving Linguistic Heritage in the Era of Globalization: Challenges and Opportunities
    Protecting endangered languages while fostering integration and  exchange.

  • Artificial Intelligence and Language Technologies for  Enhancing Cultural Exchange and Connectivity
    The use of AI in translation, communication, and preserving linguistic  diversity in Belt and Road regions.

  • Tourism and Language: Catalyzing Cultural Exchange and  Economic Development in Belt and Road Countries
    The intersection of language learning, tourism, and cultural  preservation.

  • Cultural Exchange as a Catalyst for Peacebuilding and  Conflict Resolution in Multilingual Regions
    How language and cultural understanding can mitigate tensions and   promote harmony.

  • Education as a Bridge: Language and Cultural Exchange Programs for Future Generations
    The role of language education in fostering long-term integration and  collaboration.

  • Economic Implications of Linguistic and Cultural Integration  in the Belt and Road Initiative
    How language and cultural exchange impact trade, business, and economic  policy.

  • Narratives of Connectivity: Storytelling, Media, and the  Role of Language in Shaping Belt and Road Perceptions

    How the language in media, including digital media, influences and shape people’s perceptions toward the Belt and Road initiative

  • Conference Dates: October  25-26, 2025

  • Early Bird Abstract Submission Deadline: July 05, 2025

  • Final Abstract Submission Deadline:  July 28, 2025

  • Results of abstract review  returned to authors: Generally within four weeks

  • Full conference paper submission (after the event): November 18, 2025

Note: All abstracts and manuscripts need to be submitted in English.

Paper presentation: On-site-$135 USD, Online-$100
    
Listener: Onsite-$70 USD, Online-$30

The conference fee is used to provide coffee, lunch, certifications, and international peer-reviewed journal publications.

Presentation Formats

·         Oral Presentation (15 minutes)

·         Live-Stream Presentation via Zoom (15 minutes)

·         Virtual Presentation (Pre-Recorded Video)

Following the conference, virtual and in-person presenters will receive a Certificate of Presentation

Please note that the author will create video presentations.

Publication Opportunities:

Conference Proceedings
All abstracts accepted for presentation will be Double Blind Peer Reviewed and will be published in the Conference Abstract Proceedings (Only soft copies will be sent to the participants).
Journal Publications
* Selected papers presented at the conference will be submitted for publication in open-access International Peer Review journals (
Google Scholar). The journal will be selected based on the title of the manuscript. Every manuscript needs to be double-blind peer-reviewed.

Participation options
* Oral Presentation: Every presenter needs to complete the presentation within 15 minutes. Each presenter will be allotted 15 minutes to deliver their presentation. Need to prepare PPT for presentation with no more than 10 slides.
* Online Presentation (LIVE): Virtual participants will present live on Zoom. A Zoom link will be shared with every participant after successful registration.
* Listener: You can participate as a listener in the session and get your participation certificate.
Submission Guidelines
* Abstract Submission: The maximum word limit for the Abstract is 300–400 words. Abstracts must be received by the due date.
